Specialty Processes to Meet Your Manufacturing Needs

Most people know us for our Die, Sand, Investment Casting, and Forging and Sheet Metal Stamping services. But did you know that we also offer a variety of specialty processes?

Our Precision Machining, Permanent Mold, Shell Molding, Extrusions, and Assemblies can be the right fit for your project, timeline, and budget.

What is Precision Machining?

Precision machining uses computer-controlled tools to shape, cut, and remove excess material from a workpiece to create precise parts, tools, components, and equipment. It can be used on a variety of materials, including metal, wood, and glass, to produce complex shapes in small volumes with high precision and repeatability.

What is Permanent Mold Casting?

Permanent mold casting is a process for producing a large number of castings using a single reusable mold. The casting process involves pouring molten metal into a mold, where it cools and solidifies. The mold is then opened, the casting removed, and the mold is reused.

What is Shell Molding?

Shell molding, also known as shell-mold casting or the Croning process, is a metal casting technique that uses resin-covered sand to create molds for small to medium parts. The process was invented in Germany by Johannes Croning in the mid-20th century and is similar to sand casting, but it offers better dimensional accuracy, higher productivity, and lower labor requirements.

What is Aluminum Extrusion?

Extrusion is a manufacturing process that involves forcing a material through a die to create a specific shape. The die is a small disk with an opening of a specific size and shape. The material can be a liquid, such as molten aluminum. We also powder-coat extruded parts.

What are Assemblies?

Assembly is the process of combining individual components into a finished product during manufacturing. We are your go-to team for creating both the parts and the assemblies for your manufacturing project.
